September: PEN Leadership Institute
September 19-20, Ross Danis attended the second portion of the Public Education Network's Leadership Institute for leaders of Local Education Funds. As an LEF, we continute to work with our national network of peer organizations, as well as our parent organization, PEN, to share best practices and share and receive support in each other's work to ensure a high quality public education for all students.

PEN is at an exciting stage as a network as it commits to rallyingaround unifying goals -- and holding itself accountable for impact. PEN's research on effectiveness in achieving measurable results with nationally recognized effects indicates key elements that make critical differences in accelarating both the growth and performance of LEFs.
